At dawn, we arrived; the town, Puurvoidello. There were people in black, and one dashing young fellow Came
up to our ship and asked where we'd been, Had we passed a funral freighter, his sister Penny, within.
We
all shook our heads and said we were stumped, but we passed no ships and no freighters for months.
Every last man
took his belongings and left, For plains and for mountains they went quite bereft. I stood on that dock until late
in the even'n Everyone had gone, I was alone and deep thinkin'.
The tongueless doctor... leand upon the wall, of
him I had no care. He was better off among the dead, than living this despair.
I tipped all the oil, and then
dropped a candle. One thing did I take, but my clothing and sandals. I cut the lines and the sails caught the wind, The
boat floated out and the room of Steed's sin. The oil caught fire, there was no more to fear, The blast lit the sky,
and I found my way here.
<Keep lifts an eyebrow and surveys the room, and nods>
So to answer your question Wrymm...
I've lived
in this tav'n for more months than I know, I please her with furs, a great warmth from the snow. She always seems cold,
but is always receptive, I hated Steed and how he held her captive. But now I am happy and will be for all time, For
Miss Penny Pound and all her beauty is mine!
